ABC7 Vista L.A. recently aired a half-hour feature on Corazon de Vida.
We were contacted by the producers of the ABC7 show Vista L.A. to make a 5-minute segment about Corazon de Vida. Our founder Hilda Pacheco-Taylor and director George Perez travelled with Vista L.A.’s team to Baja to visit the orphanage where Hilda grew up. They learned about her dreams and challenges and how her desire to give back was born out of gratitude for the help she received when she needed it the most.
The producers of the TV show fell in love with Corazon de Vida’s story and petitioned to turn what was supposed to be a 5-minute segment to a full 30-minute feature for the Vista L.A. program! The piece is very complete and it touches on CDV’s beginnings, the orphanages, our director George Perez’s story, our bus trips and our continuing education program.
